Hi hope you can help.

My husbands son has been put into social care aware from his mother.

He has not stayed with his mother since 15th July. We spoke to CSA last night to confirm this and they are saying we still have to pay up until yesterday.

We have had his son stay with us for well over a week, he's been in respite care for two weeks and staying at a friends house for four weeks - all are happy to confirm this in writing.

Can we fight this decision? we have been paying out to all of these other people as well as having to save for back payments since June 16th as the CSA have not yet set up DOA.

Thanks

im sure social services would give a letter confirming when the child went into care to back up your claim
