Does he receive any petrol allowances, accomodation allowances, clothing, food etc anything like that because if he doesn't pay tax on it then it's excluded from the CSA calculation. Although his net pay may be more anything he doesn't pay tax on is excluded.

Your best bet is to ring them and ask them exactly what they've taken into account and what not.
