Hi All.

I have recently been aware that my daughter is displaying aggressive behaviour towards my ex wife. My ex has not mentioned this to me, other than my daughter has kept saying that my ex is often 'petty and pushy'. I'm concerned also that as my ex puts things; that our daughter is comfortable enough to be aggressive towards my ex, implying that she is afraid to be like it with me. I think this is not the case and that our daughter is always stable and comfortable when with me.

I am taking care of my daughter 50% of the time and see enough of her to know how emotionally stable she is.

I suspect that when our daughter is taken away to my ex's lover's home, that things are 'liberal' with v/late nights etc and could be the reason for some of the aggression... Some of it I suspect is that my ex is flaky and over-the-top to the point our daughter sees it and it simply frustrates her, as it did me.

Should I expect my wife to tell me (as she has not) that she has taken our daughter into child psychotherapy? Do I have any rights with this?

Best.

11 years old. She knows that her mother is planning to move away from the area and has expressed her concern about this; not seeing very much of family and friends, me etc.

Thanks.

Briefly, if you were married you do have rights over any treatment for your daughter.

Thanks. I have a meeting with a family solicitor that I hope won't be affected by the snow this Thursday. I'll post you the results...
