Did you have legal advice? CM agreed in a Consent Order is to be paid for a year (and a day) from the date of the order before either party can apply to the CSA. The CSA then notify the court and the order ceases to have effect about two months later.

Interesting - exactly what I suspected my ex plans to do to me! Hence I am not being bullied into signing consent order that he tells me is 'very generous'!

1 yr and 1 day from ratified date stamped on the order by the courts. the order is cancelled 2 months and 2 days from application to the agency.

Hi

my ex did something similar, although we had a consent order in place with child maintenance agreed at a certain figure based on his expats net income at roughly the csa 20%. Now he is earning approx 55/60% of what we agreed his net was and he has returned to the uk on a 3/3 week rota doing security. He sees the girls more now which i think is giving them a more stable relationship with him,and a more normal upbringing as possible after a divorce. The CM is less but we share more of the costs now, i was scared at first with the worst thought that he could swerve paying me any reasonable amount as self employed and earnings out of country etc, but i managed to avoid court and all the heartache. I hope this helps your plight.
