hiya,

I hav 2 children one is 18 and the other 8.my eldestdoes not stay muh at my house, bt my youngest stays every oher week with me. I have just got a new job after being out of work for 9 months and then earning minimum wage for 6 months until i got this new job earning 35k a year. I want to find out a, if he can claim backdate maintenance as i couldn't pay him anthing befoegetting this job. because i needed to keep payng my motgage somy boys had a roof over their heads when they stay with me.

B, how much maintenance will i need to pay my husband, if my eldest goes to univrsity in sept. bearing in mind my yungest lives with me half of the time.

c, can i pay my eldest dirct if he leaves hs dads home

csa will be complicated to calcuate this.

In essence though it would just be a case of maths. If you go to the csa website it should be able to break it down for you. Who receives the child benefit.

He will not be able to claim backdated maintenance on the £35k as it is based on the income that you earn during that time and therefore your payment will be reduced during the time you were unemployed.
