Hi guys,

Came home from work this lunchtime to find 7 brown envelopes through the door, all addressed to me. Opened the first one, and it said that my husband has overpaid child maintenance (he authorised me, in writing, to speak to them on his behalf years ago, so now all comms come addressed to me, which I find weird, but hey ho) by £15.10. Fine, don't understand it, but still fine. Then I opened the next one. Exactly the same letter. And the next one, and the next, and the next, and the next. 6 letters in total, all saying exactly the same thing. In the final envelope was a cheque for £91 from the CSA!

Of course we're not complaining, but what a waste of money! All those letters when just one would have done. So how much are the CSA's administration fees??

:S

Yes, a bit like the Inland Revenue sending me a cheque for £0.17 :woohoo: for overpayment of tax. It costs me £0.90 to bank it.....:(

Silly bankers...

Another £30 today came through the door. 2 letters, one saying an overpayment of £25 and another saying an overpayment of £5. Haven't a clue what's going on, as we have never thought my husband has been overpaying (well, not in terms of what she receives anyway - she's on benefits). Bizarre. Still, it will go towards paying for hubby's daughter's school uniform when she starts sec school this year :)
