Hiya folks

I hope someone can answer my question, Ive been through the achives and im still non the wiser...

My partner had on his Consent Order dated December 2009, that he pays his ex combined child/spousal maintanence... The spousal maintanence was only until the 29th May 2010, it then stated on the consent order that he needs to pay CM at a rate of 15 % and that each year he had to send proof of his earnings to the court... He has been out of work for 2 months, but continued to pay her what the order stated as he didnt want to get into any trouble with the courts, even though its used up all his savings. He was unable to claim JSA as he had an offer of a job, but they didnt have a start date for him. So my question is.. does he need to apply to the courts everytime his salary changes so that they can work out the 15% ( and it costs him everytime) ... OR can he go to the CSA HIMSELF once the consent order date is over 12 months?????

Your help would most appreciated

:)

court order fro cm are only valid for a year so csa after that.
its always good to send them your p60 each year if you go via the csa anyway.

Thanks for that, i'll let him know.... do you mean send the courts his P60?

That could be difficult as he works in saudi arabia and is Non Tax status and he dont get a P60... he can only provide payslips which the CSA have to then convert to £..... so does he send the courts and CSA his last payslip of the tax year and let them convert it to pounds ( as hes paid in a foreign currency) ???
