Hi

Read your posts with interest. My situation is as follows. I receive £38 a week for 3 children as my stbx has decided he only earns £5,400 per annum (he is a self employed 2nd hand car dealer).

However he also receives a rental income of 21k per annum, which apparently the CSA say they cannot touch.

I have asked the CSA to look into 'his lifestyle not commensurate with his income'

Stbx has to service a mortgage of 380k and a business loan of 153k and live, which he seems to do quite nicely, BMW convertible, personal number plate, numerous holidays and weekends away, clothes, gym membership.

Unbelievably the CSA have dismissed my claims and I am now going to the tribunal services.

I wish I could live on £5,400 and do all those things.;)

Has anyone any experience of the tribunal services.

Many thanks

Nat;)

requesting a variation on the basis of life style inconsistent with income and/or diversion of income are two extremely legalistic approaches and, unfortunately, very, very difficult to prove if the NRP has half an idea of how to cover his/her tracks. The cost is also generally prohibitive.
