We were going through long divorce with my ex-husband and he was declaring for the court that he will be paying every month 1500 euros child maintanence. I am thinking whether he made it up for the court. It's sounds too much, do you think??? He fathered a child with his former ex-girlfriend who has been living in Spain for the past 10 years. As he was declaring, they have split up when she was 6 weeks pregnant, she has finished relationships and was demanding 2000 euros child maintenance. He said he agreed to pay 1500 euros every month.

They could have agreed any amount. It is possible to check bank statements to see what amount has been paid during the last year.

He actually showed me his bank statements and he is definitely transfering this huge ammount of money every month. We never know how long he is willing to pay this??? I could undestand if he was a millionaire but he just is a quantity surveyor...
