Hello,
can anyone on here please clarify something for me.
I have a post March 2003 Consent Order for child maintenance, and have been given to understand that as long as it is more than 12/12 since the order was made, then either the PWC or the NRP can make an application to the CSA in respect of CM.
As NRP, I downloaded the appropriate forms, completed them, and sent them along with the requested information regarding income etc.
Three weeks later, having had no acknowledgement of receipt, I phoned the "helpline" (ironic I know, but thats what they call it!) to enquire whether they had received my application. The person I spoke to informed me that only the PWC could make an application, and that my application would languish on someone's desk til the PWC makes an application or hell freezes over, whichever is the sooner!
Have I misunderstood the situation, or have I being given the wrong information by the "helpline"

Regards
Jim

I thought that anyone could apply to the csa.

Try another little helper on the help line and see how many different answers you can get!
