My ex is appealing against the CSA decision regarding maintenance for our daughter which has until she received her A-level results been paid direct to her. She now receives nothing from him.

I have today received a copy of a letter which purports to have been written by him to the CSA. Which was in fact written and signed by the Girlfriend. Can anyone advise me if I need to write to the tribunal office and tell them this is not a letter that is wriiten by him. Or wether it is best just to ignore it. This appeal has been going on since March and my daughter is worried that if he wins the appeal she will ahve to repay the money. I only saw £100 of any money due and this I transfered straight to her. Other than for about £30 that she owed me.

I think the issue is whether the letter reflects his position or not.
If he is making the appeal but the giorlfriend actually wrote the letter for him, it is unlikly to makeany difference. If there is any chance that he did not have full knowledge & approval of the contents then it is worth raising it so that he can be asked to clarify whether it does in fact, accurately reflect his position.

Thank you for your reply. I have no idea wether it is his view or not. He seems to be very much under the influence of this woman and seems to do what she tells him to do. I have been verbally abused both on the phone and in person by her. She seems very insecure in their relationship and gives the impression that she thinks I want him back. Which is in no way the case I moved 200+ miles to get away.
