Given the figures I would tend to agree that the figure should be around 500 / month and he should be meeting his responsibility to his children...
If he isn't prepared to do that then you don't have a lot of option other than look after your child's interests and go to the CSA, although you may wish to follow jaw's advice and take the 350 until the new system comes it. Be aware though that if the 350 figure is written into a concent order you'll be stuck with it for a year before you could apply to the CSA

Thanks for your help and advice, think I will wait for new system before I make a claim with CSA. I know how stbx thinks and doesn't see it as supporting his children just as giving me money. Would tell him where to shove it if I could afford to!;)

Hi Milli, you said you were too tired to argue so if I can offer you any advice it would be this....give yourself a few days off. Dont feel under pressure to do anything right now. Make a decision in a couple of days when things may seem a bit clearer. At least you will have thought things through and feel better about your decision rather than making a decision for the sake of it because you are so tired.
A couple of days wait doesnt matter. But will make a huge difference in the long run.
In my case I was so tired, and so desperate for some financial help I agreed to £23....found out ex had a gross income of £103k. £23 doesnt even provide bread, milk, fruit and nappies a week for our boy!!! I was simply grateful for 'something'
Lof x
