Hi today is the one year anniversary of husband leaving my 15 yr old registered disabled son and myself. He took my daughter with him and rented a flat.We live in the family home I earn a similar salary to my husband He promised to pay mortgage just emailed that this would cease. I have been paying our bills etc I would be nearly impossible for my son and I to survive each month. My daughter attends an independant school and he pays the fees.

Are you divorced, and is there a financial order? If not, then it may be that you need to look at starting oproceedings in order to apply for maintenace pending suit.

It may be worth exploring mediation / Collab, to discuss these issues iof you havebn't already done so,.

Also, contact the mortgag company to ask about availability of payment holiday / putting mortgage onto interest only / extending term (any of which can help to lower costs in the short term, to give you time to look for a longer term solution)

Double check you are cliaming everything in the way of tax credits and benefits you & your son are entitled to
