Has anyone had an experience of successfully applying for a variance to a court order, which states maintenance needs to be paid to ex-wife, for a child until the end of their 1st degree?
Divorced 2003 and Consent Order written for maintenance until 18.
Consent order varied 2008 to update amount paid in line with CSA. Also the time period was changed by the judge from 18 until end of child's 1st degree.
No contact with children (their decision) since 2008. Eldest is coming up to 18 and am considering applying to vary the order to either stop paying altogether or to arrange to pay the child direct.
