Hi, I have FINALLY got rid of my child maintenance order, that was on a county Court Consent Order.

My ex is far from happy about this, in fact she wants another pop at my cash.

I said she couldnt it had been "revoked"

she said she could it had been "discharged"

what is the difference.

Does this mean she can resurrect the old court order and reapply for variations to it etc, even though I dont have to pay a bean at last?????

Thanks in advance

I'm having difficulty grasping the concept of 'getting rid of a child maintenance order' and await responses with interest in case I've misunderstood.

The judge declared my order "discharged" when I applied to the court to get rid of .....simple as that!

but my ex-wife is furious, and wants to get another order.

She thinks maybe the Judge discharged it as there were a lot of clauses in it, that gave me loopholes to get out of paying.

I applied to get it revoked but it was discharged, which I think means it no longer exists and never will be able to be revived in future

How old are the child/ren court have jurisdiction over consent orders but the CSA can take over depending on the age of the kids once the order is a year old.

Although your profile states that you are a male, your previous posts indicate that you are a stay at home mum of 2 year old triplets, living abroad with a new husband, and that your ex husband is an airline pilot with whom your teenage daughter has recently chosen to live with.......

If you want the good and knowledgeable people here to give you the time of day and allow you to benefit from their experience and wisdom you should at the very least be staight with them.
