I'm sure this has been asked before , but once daughter goes of to college (19 in September) I would like to support her directly ie.she can have CM+ thus removing the ex from the transaction. Is this allowed?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

What does the Consent Order say about when maintenance ends?

Are you paying via CSA? Liability ends once child is no longer in full time non advanced education. Degree counts as advanced education so liability will have ended and you and your daughter can do as you choose.

I was being asked to pay all CM to ex until the youngest finished college.
Happier to help the kids directly

Do you have a court order settling the finances? If so what are the exact terms?

CM for over 18s in education can be part of the overall divorce settlement and may be paid to a parent for the benefit of the "child" or directly to the student.

If you don't have a court order yet CM can normally only be included in the settlement with agreement.
