Amend Consent Order

I am new to this site, and have a question:

I have a Consent Order dating back to 1995. It was written for me to pay until my daughter reaches 18, or 23 if in full-time education. I have been estranged from my daughter for years because of mother's behaviour (a very, very long story).

My daughter is 18 soon. I am sure that she will go on to university. What are the chances of the order being amended, so I pay my daughter direct, or stopping the order?

Many thanks

When your daughter is 18 and she decides not to go to uni you can stop paying without going to court (its called a trigger point) if she does go to uni then you will need to pay until it ends or she reaches 23 as per the order.

Thank you for your quick response. Can I just ask if I can apply to pay direct to my daughter? It may help our relationship (as long as her mother is involved, nothing will change).
