Is it wrong to not get child support from NRP

I do believe both parents should contribute to the childs upbringing. HoweverI do not agree with the current NRP and PWC concept. Where basically one parent contributes to the other, whilst the other makes no contribution.
If care is shared, then it should all be a case of looking at earning power of BOTH parents, number of nights of care and working out a suitable amount one way or the other.
If one parent does all the caring then yes I do think NRP should pay some form of child support. Even if this is banked away for savings for the child ~ in fact I think a certain % being saved in a plan should almost be a compulsory part of all child support payments

It's a no brainer.
It's the law.
THe NRP (resists the feeling to type bloke for the 1% of blokes who keep the kids)
Should pay child maintenance.
Write to the csa get them on the case to enforce payment.
You ain't uber bothered about it anyway.
So it will all be bunce money that you can pay out for the kids.
I'd apply to the CSA not only because he should pay,but to ram his laughing in my face back up his rse with interest when he's got the csa after him.
I'd make it my own little hobby to keep writing them letters asking for enforcement so that they were continually hassling him.
Coz the beauty of your situation is that you've decided you don't need it anyway. So it's merely a quest to make him realise his obligations and that bullies don't get away with it.
Just write to the CSA for enforcement don't even have to tell him.If he brings it up ranting and raving say oh that must be to do with all the cost cutting by the government I wondered why they asked if I received cm when I filled in the child maintenance application.
I could be so devious if I put my mind to it ;)
All the best
Pete
