Received a letter from the CSA today, to say that as of the end of January, they have reassesed my ex, and he now has to pay £0.00 for our daughter!
I don't understand HOW he managed to do that! They have said that he is getting less than £5 a week, but I know that he isn't!
He is privatly renting a flat, which he pays for himself, he is constantly buying himself new things, new tattoos, new mobile phones, and going out and getting drunk. He hasn't ever bought Christmas or birthday presents for her. I think the only thing he has ever bought her, was a stuffed dog last Easter, and he bought that on the day we had contact, as he had forgotton to buy her anything before hand!

Appeal it. Good chance CSA have made a mistake as they often do!

Sounds like he is playing the game played by most others.

It's always hard to swallow on either side. But what else can you do?

The CSA are useless. We all know that. :(

I agree with Whyspecial. Appeal, with evidence of the things you list above.

Best wishes,
Sadie

Got to agree with the other, you should appeal. Surely even the CSA can see that no-one can live on £5 a week and therefore his income details must be wrong.

Hope you get things sorted soon.

Before he was working, we were getting £5 a week, and I thought it would go back to this when I found out he stopped working, but apparently not!
He is claiming disability living allowance so I don't know if they can take money from that. Before, he was claiming JSA/income support but I don't know if he is getting that anymore since he stopped working.
It's annoying that he doesn't seem to care at all about his daughter. She doesn't understand at the minute luckily, as she is only two and a half. She will when she gets older though. (Obviously not that he isn't paying me money, as I wouldn't involve her in that. Just in the fact he never buys her presents, cards etc)
