I don't know what she is doing now, she has always done some sort of cash in hand work, even when married.

Never understand a parent who doesn't want to help contribute to the upbringing of their own children. Mind you my ex is the same. CSA have to phone him every month to get a payment!

I sympathise James having spent the past 4 years pleading with the CSA to get me something from my obviously wealthy ex who is hell bent on paying nothing for his 2 oldest kids.
It really wears you down so I have come to the decision (very recently) that I dont want anything from him...my bf and me will happily bring the kids up ourselves and provide for them as best as we can...my ex may be laughing now but Karma is an amazing thing...and when he's an old man and is desperate to see the 2 children he abandoned in every sense of the word I shall encourage them to visit him...and to make him bl**dy ashamed of what he deprived them of and put me through and the obvious love and adoration they have for their doting step-dad will shine through...and I hope it makes my ex ill!

Good for you!

My ex has always been awkward about our children but in the opposite way. Wanted the money but didn't want me to see them. It didn't matter how much money I provided she was always hard done by and knew someone who got more. Tries to live her life through the kids and nothing they do is ever good enough. Funny thing is her mother was the same with her and eventually she rebelled. She seems to forget that history has a habit of repeating itself.

Karma, I can't wait!
