David Cameron launched a sexist assault on men who don't support their children, note men, not NRP's or absent fathers AND mothers.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-13825737

What about a Government that supports fathers rights as well as attacking the malingerers whether they are actually men or women.

Bet he wouldn't dare say on Mothers Day that women who cause contact isses should be shamed, stigmatised and have their children taken off them.

Fe kin hell Dave not one mention in that speech except for His Royal hawayness who although he looks like a dead beat dad after being tarred with this very broad generalising brush actually lives alone after the ex harridan fxcked some other geezer and then moved bazza in two months later after the contrived bin bagging.
Then he gave it a free house £5k a year tax fee holiday spends for the following 12 years and excellent unpaid baby sitting service every other weekend:(  :) B) ;) :( :S  ;)   :silly:   :P :silly:  :silly:    :woohoo: :side:  :S :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: B)

Pete, I agree with everything you said apart from the babysitting bit.

You cannot babysit your own kids. And although you have them every other weekend, who babysits them when you don't have them????

Yes, your wife did leave and shack up shortly with someone else for which you are financially bearing the brunt, but the kids are suffering as well, only seeing their dad every other weekend.

And this is what happens alot and it saddens me. A child should see both parents daily - marriage break down is terrible for the children and they suffer badly both financially and emotionally.

Reading some of the stories on here, particularly from NRP fathers through no choice of their own really breaks my heart.

I hope you have your children with you today Pete.

I like your post sillywomen - you show compassion to those who would like to see more of their children but are not able to.

I don't understand why a mother would refuse to let the children be with their dad on father's day, especially when they are with her on mother's day.

Quite agree Stepper. I don't understand it either, and I imagine so many littles, just in from school, and their resident parent says 'what would you like to do?' and the little one says 'I would love to see my dad/mum' and then the parent says 'no, you can't, you see dad/mum next weekend and not before', leaving little to wander off to watch TV wondering why they can't see a person they love just as much as the parent they live with.

Breaks my heart, it really does

My ex.dil tells my youngest grandchild that 'she is very sad when he is at daddy's house'.

How is that for laying a guilt trip on the shoulders of a seven year old.
