Hi there,

I have been divorced for some time and have a court ordered child maintenance agreement for 4 children. I also have a seperate order for child maintenance to continue at the same rate (made payable to me in favour of each child) until the children have finished a first degree, save for any gap year where they have to support themselves.

My second daughter has just taken her A levels and is hopefully going to university in September. She officially finishes FE College mid july but having finished her exams is no longer attending. As she is going to uni she has not got a summer job as jobs are few and far between and it would only be for a few weeks.

Her Father has not paid any maintenance for her this month (no reason) I presume that he thinks he doesn't have to because she is not at college.

The divorce was long and messy and there have been 13 hearings over the last 10 years so I am reluctant to pursue applications if I can avoid them but she is not working and not having a gap year so surely this counts the same as any other holiday?

Many thanks:)
