Hi.. I need some advice as to how to go about following up with my ex who is in UK with child maintenance.

The Dubai courts has issued a judgement against him, stipulating that he must must pay a fixed amount each month. Now in three years he has not paid anything and the amount in now Dhs 80000 (GBP 17000).

I am residing in Dubai with my parents. I was in UK for 4 years prior to the divorce but my ex got very violent and was jailed for domestic abuse. So I was forced to leave with my daughter who is now 9.

I need to know how I can make him pay this money every month and the amount due. Please help!

I don't believe the UK has a reciprocal agreement with the United Arab Emirates so you will be unable to enforce the Dubai courts ruling in the UK.
