I get it to £50 a week.

I've allowed that he pays 5% into a pension.

Please go to CSA. I argued with my husband for 2 1/2 years over CM. I have 3 children and my husband earns just under £40K. When he had a child with his girlfriend his solicitor wrote to me to tell me he would be dropping CM to £400. I went to CSA and even with the discount for the new child was awarded £510 per calendar month. A lot of people malign the service but it was all done and dusted for me in under 3 weeks.

Just as an aside - it gobsmacks me how much we have to pay for that the absent spouse doesn't. Hobbies - yes - try telling the child he / she can't do them. Its never the absent spouse's fault either - its yours for not affording it. Passports - holidays - school trips - mobile phones - xmas presents which compare with two incomes which is what the child is used to and in my case a huge mortgage to which my husband has not once contributed!

Apologies - I meant the parent with whom the children do not reside.

Hello

I agree with weekate, please go to csa and let them work out how much he should pay.

I did not get a penny piece from my ex for 5 kids and brought them up on a full and part-time job and had to provide everything for them while he had them to stay.

I eventually got in touch with the csa on the advice of both my solicitor and exs solicitor and that is all ive ever had,

dd gets nothing for birthdays, xmas or anything just maintance but at least after all these years i finally get something for her as she is all i have left after the others flown the nest a few years ago
