Hello

I’m looking for some advice for a friend, she’s divorced with three children, she’s moving to France (with the father’s consent) the child maintenance is paid by s/o through the CSA. My question is what should she do if he cancels the s/o?

Any advice/ thoughts much appreciated.

Thank you

I am quessing, but as he will still be working in the UK the CSA will have jursidiction and therefore they should be her first port of call if any problems with payments arise.

As he is still living in the UK, the CSA would be the first point of contact to request that they chase up payments, enforcing them if required.

Thanks for the replies, we were under the impression that the CSA would only get involved if the absent parent, parent with care and children lived in the UK, however its good to know she will have support from them.

Thank you
