CSA Says he pays Nothing!

My friend is now going through a divorce and her ex is self-employed and is paying himself with loans and the writing them off, the CSA have come back and said he is using a loop hole and there is nothing they can do!
Meanwhile he is spending £10k and month!!

Any suggestions????

I am not sure there is a lot you can do in relation to the CSA, self employment seems to cause endless problems for parents with care.

You say your friend is currently going through a divorce, how are finances being dealt with? Have parties financially disclosed to each other yet?

This justice system is SO FLOORED, anyone know of any campaigns regards this loophole????

I think your friends best option is to concentrate on the financial proceedings. Courts can award both spousal and child maintenance by way or Court Order. There is alot to consider but the starting point is financial disclosure if there are gaps she can challenge them and she will be entitled to see all bank statements etc.
