Well for the assessment to be £130 pw on CS2 he would need to be netting about £860pw. To be £30 his net would be £200. If he is paying £660 per week into a pension it wont be sustainable, unless he has other income, and you are very likely to get a variation.

Apply for a variation ASAP (I used the term departure earlier which is same thing for CS1)

OK thank you I will - when they rang to tell me the payments were reducing I asked why they just said his salary had reduced which didn''t make sense as I knew he had a massive promotion. When I discovered what he was doing I did ring them but they wern''t interested - now I know what I''m asking for I''ll ring them back.
