Thankfully I am no longer with them and am paying in line with what I was though them. However,i also have to provde for my kids when with me,get no child benefit or tax credits and my ex wife has £200 A WEEK more than me in income. As her earned income is only £750 pm the total of her benefits plus my maintenance must equate to £1250 per month!Firstly, this means I am forced to rent as she has no incentive to relase me from the mortgage by working full time(mortgage comoanies do not look at benefits as income) and secondly she still has no incentive financially to allow me more time with my kids who have been massively afffected by the separation and clealry feel in the middle.I have fought and fought to spend more time with them but she comes up with ludricous reasons to reduce my overnights to two a fortnight)alternate friday/saturdays),even having the gall to say if I am not happy with the arrangements I wont see them for tea in the week either! The csa is a load of tosh when it comes to treating decent NRPS (i am one through no choice of my own) and the law in this country doesnt help make things even between PWC and NRP!Surely the kids have as much right to see their dad as their mum without me having to drag it through the family courts, causing more emotional distress!?I cannot win and feel as time passes she is buying thwem and slowly turning them against me, allowing me to be portrayed as the villain. At 13 and 10 they are too young for me to sit them down and tell the the truth and I am hurting every day as a result. When i hear things like "mum sat us down and we decided it was for the best" and "its best to be in our own beds on a school night" and "mum said its best to get on the svhool bus with our friends" I can just see the blatant conditioning and influence. She even locked them i nthe house alone and went out at midnight to buy a new xbox game and then woke the eldest up tp play it on a school night.!!Could you imagine if I had done that???
Changing th subject, i have heard the csa now only look at your guaranteed basic and disregard bonuses as well as looking at living costs of the NRP -can this be true?A guy I kno in passing says his has reduced from a grand a month to £300-could this possibly be true?If anyone knows how they are operating I owuld like to know as I wouldnt be surprised if she went back to them and it would be good to know she may be shooting hrself in the foot if she did!
