My ex is moving to Belfast.......at the moment she is only 10 mins drive from me in Glasgow.

I see my son every week and have a great bond with him.

Now due to no fault of my own I'm going to have to travel to Belfast and possibly pay for him to fly over.

Called the CSA to ask if my maintanence could be adjusted but all I got well we can't tell you until she moves!!

Does anyone know what I could claim?

You apply for a variation,if they turn the variation down you appeal and go to tribunal. You are going to need proof of the costs of the travel.

Sky ,my friends daughter was born in Nottingham , she was flown to Scotland by helicopter as the mother wanted to move their. The case was concluded in Scotland he got full custody of his daughter . The Social Services were brought in due to...... cut a long story short the SS then had to support my friend who lost his job his house/mortgage could not be paid due to the 2 year long haul in the family courts. The SS paid for a hotel he had the baby stay there with him , then his travel costs. They helped him to get her in a nursery and he got back into work when they returned back to Nottigham. Should anyone be reading this when the total cost amount to losing everything and almost going backwards to go forward this is the reality of the cost of divorce and custody battles.
