You could try your local MP.......... well saying that we did, he was off fox hunting and boozing with his 'mates' far too much to worry about someone suffering!!!!!!!

Told him did not vote for you and now never would.... he was a right plonker.

Have you asked for an oral ;) whereby you go and meet them face to face???

We asked for that, about two months later, they wrote and asked why we had not attended. DUH !!!!!!!!!! perhaps because we never received a letter inviting us to.!!

all i can offer is sympathy and another horror story in the making:
i applied to the csa nearly 6 years ago (but didn't hold out much hope even at that stage as ex self emp). they gave me £50 compo/party money (yeah right) because they took so long to set up my claim, but they wouldn't backdate it to the original claim date (would then have been done on old rules CSA1, not sure if this was a good or bad thing...?)
hey ho, 6 years on and thin air later, they're looking at applying for a liability order of £11.5k and counting - as they've been "looking at" this option for over 6 months, i'm waiting for their next move. i am not getting excited about it.
he never responds, i nag them, nothing changes but the excuses they give - thank the lord that the 4 children and i don't depend on it for survival eh?
has ANYONE got a good story about CSA and what hope for CMEC being any different?

if it helps, I have heard from several women on a parenting website I frequent (not that sad I'm on support websites all the time, honest!) that getting their MP involved usually resolves problems very quickly. If you have arrears of £7k you have got to think that this would be of interest to your MP - he/she is there to work for you and as the CSA is a Government agency, he/she should really, really get their finger out and give the CSA a shove for you. Just an idea. Can't make it any worse, that's for sure!
