Hi
Need some help. Ex was ordered to pay £480 towards my costs. Although he has had several solicitors letters he still hasn't paid the money or arranged the transfer of the joint endowment policy into his name. My solicitor has done all the things she was ordered to do I.E arrange house to be transfered into my name and Decree Absolute and now wants to shut my case. All this was supposed to have been done by End of sept!
My question is how do i go about enforcing the court order which i have a copy of for the money owed to me without using the solicitor as want to keep costs down.
What forms do i have to fill in at court and how much will it cost.
Any advice gratefully received>

Go to money claim online to enforce cost orders.
It is run by Northampton County Court.
You just fill in the forms online and they do the rest. You will have to pay the fee but that is added to the monies owed to you.

Very quick and easy.

They will not be able to enforce the transfer.

yewtree,

If you have to enforce a CO it is the norm to be awarded the costs derived from doing so :) ...consideration of the persons ability to meet his/her financial obligations :(
