Hi I would appreciate some advice on the following matters, it needs to be pointed out that I am Bankrupt and not yet discharged.

My ex and kids live in the house that is joint mortgaged by myself and the ex, what are my obligations regarding paying this mortgage, or more to the point, with the CSA calculations for maintenance and half of the mortgage I cannot afford to live and want out of the mortgage, I know my ex cannot get a mortgage to buy me out, so what options do I have please ? The property could be sold after my 12 months of bankruptcy but only if there is equity.

Is there any legal aid available for a divorce? I'm thinking because I am Bankrupt. ( This is possibly a stupid question but if you don't ask you never know ..... )

Many thanks for any replies

Trundle off to citizens'Advice Bureau and they can look into it for you. Also go to jobseekers plus to ask about benefits. Like you say, if you dont ask, you dont know.
Someone on here will probably know more and reply to you soon.
