Hi,
I have just tried the calculator and arrived at the following figures.

I am the main bread winner, but my ex2b is working
(I take home £3,700 per month and my ex2b will soon take home £2,000 per month). Our marriage lasted 23 years, and I have just moved out from our family home.

Wife's total share of net assets is : £256800
Husband's total share of net assets is : £171200
The net assets includes my pension with a current value of £100,000 and I have assumed that the family home will be sold.

Maintenance calculation based on outgoings data: £850
Maintenance calculation based on household/childcare data: £680

Given the suggested maintenance levels and the asset sharing, could I get a Clean Break to start fresh?
If so, what typical cost would it be to me?
My wife is 45 and I am 48. Both children are over 18.

Alternatively, for how long is the maintenance payment due?

grateful for any insight in to this.
