Not very is the simple answer ;) .
It is a bit of a clunky tool. Every set of circumstances is different. You will get a clearer picture if you are able to post some financial information for wikis to look at.

We need to know

Ages
Length of marriage plus cohabitation
Incomes
Children ages and arrangements for them
Market value of former marital home
Outstanding mortgage
Size of FMH
Pensions - CEV and type
Other assets - savings, valuables etc - in sole or joint names
Debts/loans in sole or joint names.

His income is £1600 wages £892 army pension monthly
No children together 3 each from previous marraiges
Rental property no mortgage
All savings in his account so no idea ? No other assets
My income is in doubt because I work from home so when I become homeless at the end of sept I lose my job too. Currently earn £900-1000 per month

Hope this helps

We have been living in rental property inhis name only. My income is in doubt as he put notice in on the property we live in . As he has fraudulently claimed single person council tax discount. So I am unable to prove I have lived in the area for the last 3 years to enable me to get social housing assistance . I am currently fighting this .

Hi, can anyone offer any advice re Spousal Maintenance?

I'm 38, he's 48
together 7.5 years, married for 5.5 years
my income basic 17,500 per annum, his 23,000 & 10,000 rental from property + employment housing and bill package
no children together
always had separate bank accounts etc so have no ideas of his debts, mortgage etc, the house is in his name only
We both have private pensions
All debts, credit cards loans etc are held individually

I can't afford to move out, being at home is a nightmare, and he's always said if we split i'll get nothing. Can anyone help please, I just don't know where to start.

Thank you
