HI

I attended my 1st appointment for AR at court over last year. Afterwards my ex and I decided to try to resolve things amongst ourselves. Discussions have now broken down and he has put the case back to the courts.

What do I need to do now?

Our form E's were submitted over a year ago and his financial situation has changed considerably (to his benefit). I am happy to provide all my new financial information but he refuses to tell me his. Can I make him complete a new form E and provide new statements etc? Can I issue a new questionnaire? Will the court issue a new first appointment or will it go straight to FDR - in which case does he need to provide all his updated information before this meeting?

Sorry for so many questions but not sure where to turn now and can't afford a solicitor.

Tasha,

The Forms E certainly need to be updated to reflect the current financial position. You could go straight to FDR - but this would be dependent on having the information you need in good time. If it is not available, you may need a second FDR - costs may be claimed against him if he has failed to provide what is needed.
