Trying to do this myself & I have some questions re what to put on the Arrangements for Children form :

1. Re 4c "Is the house rented or owned and by whom ?" - although both parties contributed to the upkeep etc, the house and mortgage is in the respondents name only so presumably I just put that ?

2. 7a - "Does your spouse pay towards the upkeep of the children ? If there is another source of maintenance, please specify". The spouse doesn't pay a fixed, formal amount of maintenance but does pay the mortgage (which is their legal responsibility), utility bills, and fuel and insurance for a car. Is this what I should put here ? Is this what they mean by "upkeep" ?
Presumably I don't even have to mention the mortgage in this bit as it is already addressed in the response to 4c ?

3. 7c - "Has maintenance for the children been agreed ?" It hasn't but we intend to get this sorted in the form of a Consent Order once the Petition is underway. Do I answer "No" here and possibly caveat it with the Consent Order reference ?

Apologies if these seem a bit obvious - I am just anxious to make the responses are in the type of format the court expects and that this doesn't get held up or refused.

Many thanks !

Hi Lanky,

I have just completed this form too and although my situation is obviously goint to be different to yours this is what i put, hope it helps.

RE 4C- Jointly owned by Petitioner and respondent,

is the rent or mortage being paid regularly,

my answer is yes-although there are arrears of ***** due to husband saying he had paid when first left but in fact hadn't

Re 7A- my answer yes ***** per month through CSA, in your case i would put no if he is not paying maintenance for the children, the bills and mortage are a seperate issue i believe.

RE 7c- again put no but state underneath what you wrote on your post.
