Hi
Would really appreciate feedback on my reasons before comitting them to the Petition.
Also do i have to put specific dates or can i put with the 6 months prior to separation ?
Thanks

1. The Respondant lies to the Petitioner with regards to the spending of the family money.

2. The respondant prefers to spend much of her free time in secretive private persuits.

3. The respondant neglects house hold tasks which makes the petitioner feel used and taken for granted.

4. The Respondant is financially irresponsible and refused to help towards reducing the family debt.

5. The Respondent has on many occasions acted in a lewd manner and conducted inappropriate relationships with men friends.

6. The Respondent was irresponsible with money running up debts without the Petitioner's knowledge or consent.

7. The Respondent was selfish spending much time on the computer communicating with others.

hi sonning.
its a good list, but take out the feeling bits, maybe is probably my best advice.
reword no1, dont call her a lier, just put that she spends the money without you knowing.
no3 take out how it makes you feel, doesnt matter its just fact.
no7 is probably not appropriate, you can make do with 4 or 5 good ones, dont make it too long a list.

Hi Sonning

I disagree with Bobbinalong with reagrds to takin the "feeling" or rather the emotion out of your UB points. I was the Petitioner in my divorce and my UB points were littered with how each UB made me feel. Remember you are showing the court why you can no longer be reasonably expected to stay married to your stbx...so your feelings are very important!

Good luck.

Thanks for the responses. Ive reworded slightly to show the effect the behaviour had on me.
As regards the dates can i get away with just putting within the 6 months prior to separation or do i have to put specific dates ?
Thanks

1. The Respondant prefers to spend much of her free time in secretive private persuits leaving the Petitioner feeling mistrustful of the Respondant.

2. The respondant neglects house hold tasks which makes the petitioner feel used and taken for granted.

3. The Respondant is financially irresponsible and refused to help towards
reducing the family debt leaving the petitioner feeling alone and overwhelmed.

3. Since (date) the Respondant has on many occasions acted in a lewd manner and conducted inappropriate relationships with men friends leaving the petitioner feeling betrayed.

4. The Respondant was irresponsible with money running up debts without the petitioner's knowledge or consent which left the Petitioner feeling used.

5. The Respondant was selfish spending much time on the computer communicating with others so that the petitioner felt isolated and neglected.

3. During the final six months prior to the seperation the Respondant has on many occasions acted in a lewd manner and conducted inappropriate relationships with men friends leaving the Petitioner feeling betrayed and humiliated.

Looks okay to me...
