I married a Swedish woman in Sweden. The only legal record of this is an excerpt of the population register which names me as her husband. This is all that is issued in Sweden

I have a stamped, signed copy in English, but in section 1 of the D8 I would normally write that the marriage was solemnised at...

because there is no marriage certificate and we were married at a private address (swedish law doesn't require licensed premises) I'm unsure what to put on the D8

should I just put the private address?

and will a judge accept the population register? I can't be the first person to divorce a Swede

Yes, put the address at which you were married.

You will need to provide a translation of the entry as well as the original
