Sorry me again! I am now going down the route of a Separation Agreement which I am completing online.

Just a little confused - my stbx's mother is putting up the cash to buy me out of the marital home so that it does not need to be sold. Does anyone know whether this should be stated under the Lump Sum Payment section of the form or under the Property section?

Many thanks :)

Separation agreements will vary from 1 solicitor to the next, be aware that should your partner decide to claim Ancillary Relief the court aren't guaranteed to honour the separation agreement. You will need to contact the solicitors who have provided you with the form in order to get help completing it.

Many thanks for your reply. My stbx and I have always earned around the same as each other, we met as teenagers and did everything jointly from the outset. Neither of us have children so it's fairly straightforward - technically at least!

I bought the forms online but their helpline number isn't being answered and they haven't responded to my email. It's the same firm who run QuickieDivorce.com so I thought they'd be ok, I'm just hoping I haven't been swizzed out of £100 :(
