Hi,

I am trying to fill in the form Statement of Arrangements for Children. It seems that the questions are written in a way that I have the children, asking if I recieve money for them, let them seeing my spouse. They live with their mother but I have them for 3 days each week but also give her maintenance.

Was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a guide as I have not been able to find a useful one as yet.

Hi Mads

Hum be very careful how you fill it in! My STBX has filled it in incorrectly & it is all costing me in time & £ to get it sorted out.

On the form I have to complete to correct his, I will be putting things like -

Children live with XX (me) & XX (Petitioner) pays maint X per month / sees them X amounts per month etc etc.

Perhaps if your divorce is not acrimonious you could also send a "draft" of this to your STBX & her sols (we had agreed to do this but - STBX must have forgotten!). If you do a draft your STBX & Sols can check it & agree it, cutting out any need to go back to the court with amendments, saving time & possibly money.

Not that I’m in anyway resentful LOL :)

Good luck with the form - it is really easy to get lost in it. I had a close trusted friend go over my responses with me & I’m happy with it now.

Thanks for your advice, the parts I have already filled in have been done as you said. I've just tried to make it as clear as possible.

I was going to get her to look at the form before sending it off so she was happy with it. Can't see how she can't be as we will carry on with exactly the same arrangements we have now......but who knows!
