hey all

just a few quick questions- i recvd a letter few weeks ago that the pronouncement of the decree would be last week - so what happens next???...do they write me to say that it has been pronouced?? do i have to send a form??do i have to wait 6 wks from the pronoucement date??..im really unsure..any help would be grateful

you should receive the decree nissi through the post and then you have 6 weeks and 1 day to apply for Absolute. Contact your solicitor if you have one or the courts. The applicant of the divorce normally applies for the absolute.

I think you mean you can apply after 6weeks and 1 day, not 6 weeks and 1 day to apply
