we have already tried this once with no luck, it doesn't help that she has no middle name and we don't know her date of birth. I know that their are private investigaors taht specialise in this and that sign a form if they can't find her to use with the form AFFIDAVIT TO DISPENSE WITH SERVICE OF PETITION ON RESPONDENT (FORM D 13B).

Does anyone have any recommendations? We don't want to spend too much as we're broke, but we really want to get a move on with the divorce.

This is D13b

www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/courtfinder/forms/d13b_e.pdf

You need the marriage cert to Petition for divorce which has the date of birth.

As you will see from D13b you need to exhaust all avenues trying to find the respondents address only then will court deem service.

we've already sent the Petition, the marriage certificate only has her age at the time, not a date of birth. We've got the form, and have sent recorded delivery letters to her Mums address (not sure if she still lives there), her old address, the address we suspct that she hides out at and the CSA, with no luck.

What I want is a private investigator who will do the basic hunt and sign whatever they need to to prove that we have done what we can.

I'm aware that we still need to put an advert in the local paper to where she lives, and still do a search at the prinicipal registry office to check that she hasn't already divorce him.

Basically, we know she still is in the same area, but she is trying very hard not to be found.
