Hi There
I have paid for an online divorce about two years ago. Filled the forms in online, kept getting told I need to fill in another form and it will be with me withing a week. Anyway after months and months of complaining and filing a complaint demading a refund I got the forms (a year on). During this time my ex filed for a divorce. I have written letters filled in the online complaint form and all they will give me is a free upgrade.
I dont need a free upgrade - I am now divorced. I want a refund.
Its been two years since I paid them surely I am entitled to a divorce as they did not complete their service?
Any help would be appreciated.

There are a lot of online divorce sites that promise the earth and deliver very little, if anything. If you paid by credit card you may be able to action a chargeback with your credit card company.

If you paid by any other means you will probably have to issue a claim for recovery of your monies but this will cost you a court fee and the time taken to deal with the paperwork and any subsequent court hearing(s).

You could try your luck with Trading Standards and google the company and add 'complaints' to the end of the search and see if there are others in your position.
