Neither my wife nor I can currently afford a lawyer. I want to press on with the divorce and deal with financial issues later on - probably next year.

When I Petition for divorce, what should I tick concerning applications for ancillary releief etc.?

If I tick nothing I understand it will complicate getting a Consent Order later on - but not preclude it?

If I tick pretty much everything, will this initiate the consent order process and therefore delay the divorce?

I other words, whats my best option for a speedy divorce?

Ticking them just leaves the door open should you need them in the future, so tick them all, it does not mean you are pushed into a time line, some do get divorced without the money side sorted, though its not always wise.
