I have been separated from my husband since dec 07. We have 3 young kids, 5, 4 and 2, who live with me in the marital home. we were only married for 6 years.

I have been to see a solicitor and have had a Separation Agreement drawn up.
He has agreed to the separation but has not had any legal advice.

He is due to leave the armed forces this year and will be getting a large payout and pension. I have asked for a valuation of it but he refuses to give me one. What can I do as I know Im entitled to half of it while we were married.

Also we agreed to maintenance for the children, out which he pays my half of the mortgage, my half of debts and the bit left over I get into my account. He doesn’t always pay it and each month is a fight. I live on child tax credits as Im not working and not entitled to any other benefits.

My solicitor has now told me that her firm no longer do divorces on legal aid so they can no longer help me… what do I do now??

1) I want him out of my life ASAP!!!
2) I want him to pay me what Im due before he disappears out of the country

Im really hoping someone on here can help me and get me in the right direction. Oh and its Scottish law that were getting divorced under.
