Advice on divorce deemed to be served

I have served a divorce petition to my respondent, we have been separated 5 years, but has refused to sign the documents. On my receipt from the court it gave me these options if the respondent refuses to sign, send the bailiff to deliver @ £105, Apply to the court without notice for the District Judge to consider whether direction should be given @£45. I took the second option being the papers were served and gave the evidence the respondent had been deemed to be served but was not ready to sign and I needed to move on.
The judge needs more evidence these paper have been served, is my only option now to pay another £105.00 for a bailiff to deliver these documents again in person.
I would appreciate some advice on this problem.Many thanks,

Do you have anything that would prove the respondent has the court papers, email maybe, if not then you will need to have them served, rather than a court bailiff use a process server or enquiry agent, they tend to be cheaper and more effective, I think Charles practice pays around £55 for service, once served it''s not too bad,make sure whoever serves provides proof service for the judge.

Many thanks for your advice, I will try and find a process server or enquiry agent, cannot seem to find Charles Practice on the internet, do you have an web address for them? If not I will try and investigate other agents.

If you search members and just enter Charles you get to his profile page and then you can send him a private message, I think his practice details are on his profile page also, so click community on the tool bar them members far right and then search members top right in blue, just add his user name to the box and your done.
