I am currently filling in the divorce petition for adultery. I don't know the name of the woman concerned or the dates of when it took place, but my exhusband is still living with her.

Is there an acceptable way of writing this in the petition.

There isn't enough info in the guidence notes for this. Can anyone help.

My sol sent my stbx a letter of confession of adultry to sign but didnt name the woman, even though i know her name. He said there was a better chance of him admitting it & he did! It was just worded that he committed adultery with an un-named woman & that the marriage cannot now continue. Hope this helps?

The court do not like the other person to be named and I would suggest you put.

The Respondent has had sexual intercourse with a woman whose name is known to me but who I do not wish to name.

The adultery took place in or around [town] and is continuing.

You cannot file for adultery after 6 months of it being admitted to you or from you first finding out.

Do him for unreasonable behavior but list the adultry as one of the reasons ....that way you do not have to prove the affair and behavior is subjective.
I have just divorced my ex and got it to pay half the court cost ....all in all I paid £170 to get divorced.
