Hi all

I am divorcing my husband on grounds of 2 years separation. We get on well and have 2 young children who live with me. My petition was served the other day and now I want to proceed with the financial bit. We have agreed as to what we both want, that is we keep our own little bit of savings, he carries on paying the maintenance himself and that I get something of his pension. Bearing in mind that we both live in rented accommodation and I don't particularly want to know about his personal financial status, what should I do next? Do we have to fill in a form E or can I just do the Consent Order? How also do I go about getting an attachment to his pension?

Thanks for the help.

Lisa

When you get a consent order done by Wikivorce or a similar provider, they will get you to complete a Statement of Information which is a simplified, cut-down version of the Form E. The full form E is normally used in contested cases.

More info on the wiki Consent Order service here:

Hi Lisa. If you are both in agreement you can do a consent order and use Form A (statement of information)instead of Ancillary relief & Form E.
It will become legall enforceable after the absolute is granted.
You will need to get CETV's regards the pensions - See the BDM help on this site.

LisaW,

FYI

I've just uploaded a copy of the Statement of Information form (its actually form D81 not form A) into the Court Forms section on Wiki. So you can download it for free from....
