Is there anyone who may be able to give me advice regarding splitting from my partner. We currently have a house which is in joint names and joint mortgage, although I put £49k to his £5 deposit.

He wants his £5k back which is fine, can I take his name of the deeds if he agrees, what process do I need to go through and what is the status regards to the mortgage.

Can we leave the mortgage as it is and what happens when I come to sell the house, would I need his permission.
