I left my ex last year and he moved his mistress into the marital home. The deal was that they pay the mortgage and bills and that the property would be sold once the market improved and the equity would be split 50/50.

2 months ago the mistress left him and I discovered that the mortage had not been paid since I left.

The house is about to be repossessed - just really waiting for a court date. I have managed to find a buyer for the house - they are offering far less than the market value but enough to repay what is owing on the mortgage, remortgage and to pay off all of the marital debts. Trouble is, the ex is saying that it's not enough!!!!

Any advice greatly received. I am speaking to the Building Society tomorrow to explain to them that he won't play ball.

What a mess. (((hugs to you))).

I don't know the answer but I do know that you can get a judge to insist on a sale.

But if ex doesn't agree, he will lose out too, won't he?

I hope the mortgage company can come to an arrangement.
